Barefoot Aphrodites Weigh In on Sensual Men
I asked our team of reviewers to look at our movie archives and think about the men that appear in our sensual films for women. I then asked them to choose the actors they find sensual and explain why and then describe what type of men in film they find sensual in general. Alexandra was the first to weigh in:
Viggo Mortensen: From “A Walk on the Moon” to “A History of Violence” to the not-Barefoot-Aphrodite-reviewed “Eastern Promises” where we get full-frontal Viggo. He’s hot and mysterious and always a chameleon in his roles.
George Clooney: Classic, Hollywood glamour. Everything’s simmering right under the surface with him and one mischievous smile is all it takes to charm my pants off.
Colin Firth: Mmmm, restrained British sexuality. A gentleman in public but a freak in the sheets?
Johnny Depp: My number one. The bad boy, the rebel, the pirate, the poet. He’s got so many sides yet what do I really know about Johnny? Only that anytime he’s onscreen I swoon.
From these picks, it looks like my ’sensual man’ doesn’t give it all away but leaves me wanting more. Good looks certainly help but I think the eyes and the smile are the sexiest parts of most of these men. Except Viggo - his body is delicious.
Let us know what the other Barefoot Aphrodite among you think and more from ours to come!
