LAUREL CANYON (2002)

A young couple, Sam and Alex, move to LA’s Laurel Canyon from the East Coast with the intention of staying at the home of Sam’s mother, a partying record producer, while she is away. They settle in despite finding Sam’s mother unexpectedly in residence with a band making a recording. The couple find their marriage tested as Alex is increasingly attracted to the decadent lifestyle of her mother-in-law and the flirtatious rocker boyfriend and Sam struggles with resisting the persistent attention of an attractive resident at the hospital where he works.
