OUT OF SIGHT (1998)

Review by Teresa
I thought the one thing that held this movie together was the electricity between the 2 leads - i.e., the romantic scenes between J. Lopez and G. Clooney. The story - the plot - was not very credible, a little predictable, and a little bit boring - but when those 2 are on screen, their magic works and you believe these 2 improbably different individuals can't fight the attraction. Unfortunately, the non-romantic scenes do nothing to keep the momentum going - so the viewer gets all fired up, and then bored, and then moderately fired up, and then bored, and finally not fired up anymore because the plot's gotten in the way and the romantic scenes don't go far enough. Soooo, in my opinion this movie has sensual potential and some sensual scenes, but in the end I would not rate the total film as sensual for me.
